The department periodically opens searches for postdoctoral scholars, specialists, project scientists, and other temporary academics to commit effort on ICB research projects.

Internships

The ICB sponsors a summer research program in science and engineering at UCSB. The program brings science and engineering majors from across the United States to UCSB for a summer research experience. Interns are partnered with a mentor of similar interest and conduct research in our state-of-the-art laboratories, attend research seminars, receive training in career development skills, and participate in social activities.
