ICB Postdoctoral Fellow Seung Soo Oh Receives The 2013 Baxter Young Investigator Award

Seung Soo Oh is one of the recipients of the Baxter Young Investigator Award for his ICB funded research on aptamer polymer hybrids for smart drug delivery in collaboration with Professor H. Tom Soh and Professor Craig Hawker at UCSB. The award includes a $2,000 cash prize.

Baxter International Inc. is a global healthcare company specializing in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. To promote innovative research, Baxter sponsors an annual award program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Baxter's Young Investigator Awards are intended to stimulate and reward research applicable to the development of therapies and medical products that save and sustain patients' lives.

Oh will present his research at the Baxter Young Investigator Awards ceremony on September 12, 2013 at Baxter's corporate headquarters located in Deerfield, Illinois.
